House System

In September 2009, a house system was created with every student and member of staff being allocated to one of four houses – Endeavour, Endurance, Invincible and Victory. Student involvement and leadership is at the heart of the system with 2 sixth form students being house captains for each house and each tutor group having elected a house representative to be part of a House Leadership Team which then has responsibility for collecting house points throughout the year as well as organizing their house in order to take part in various house activities.

House Points
June 2011

Victory 6160
Endeavour 5649
Endurance 5586
Invincible 3846

All students have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to a broad range of activities and receive house points for acting as a guide, taking part in inter-form or extra-curricular activities, being fully engaged (for example with 100% attendance), supporting others and being a good ambassador. The aim is to help to promote ‘citizenship’ amongst our students and invest in the College community.
