This is a
highly practical subject which requires all
students to explore and develop their
performance skills in a creative
environment. The key features of this
syllabus are that it offers a flexible
approach to drama, embracing a range of
learning styles. It gives options in devised
and scripted performance, as well as
performance support, allowing the centre the
choice of plays and stimulus material to be
explored through practical work.
Progression
Success in this subject allows students to
progress on to Sixth Form ‘A’ Level courses
at Northallerton College, and to achieve
good results through these courses. Many of
our students progress to take the subject
further in higher education.
