Kate Stokes - Law

“Law is constantly changing in the modern world. With the recent coalition government coming into power, the law is rapidly progressing more than ever. I chose to do Law at A-Level because it would provide me with the necessary skills for any occupations as well as keeping me in the know; from Parliament to local bylaws, all aspects of modern law ( and even historical law) is covered. The teaching and interaction in classes keep each topic interesting: finding out about case studies makes the subject feel relevant and provides us with topics to debate on, which can often cover more than who is right and wrong. I believe that law will provide me with a strong concrete basis for any career: the debating nature of the subject, the analytical element as well as the applicable knowledge for everyday usage, means that law is not only interesting but incredibly practical.”
