Hannah Robinson - OCR National in ICT

“ICT is a very useful subject to study at A level as it can lead to careers in many different fields as nowadays technology is an important part in any job. There are many different units that you study during the course, ranging from doing typical spreadsheets to a photography unit so it is adaptable to everyone. The different units allow you to learn more about specific software making work on a computer easily transferrable between different subjects. There is a lot of coursework to do but if it means no exams then you don’t mind getting it done but it is important that you stick to the deadlines otherwise you could get really behind. Overall ICT is an interesting subject which I am glad I picked at A level as I have gained new skills, however, you need to be prepared to put in the effort to get the best out of the course.”
