Applied Science
“I am currently studying Applied
Science and P.E. I chose these
subjects with a view of doing Sport
and Exercise Science with coaching
at university. The reason that I
enjoy Applied Science at A-level is
that it offers a wide range of
interesting units across all science
areas. Applied science is primarily
coursework assessed and, I find this
useful as I struggle in exams. With
the coursework I am able to improve
my grades with the assistance of the
teachers and the wide range of
research material available. As part
of the coursework I
Conducted various practical
experiments to aid and improve my
understanding and was able to use
these results in my coursework. This
means the lessons are active and
interesting.”
